BARCELONETA
Barceloneta is one of the oldest and most lovable beaches in Barcelona. Located near the fish district and next to Port Vell this beach is surrounded by a lot of restaurants where people enjoy and love Tapas and seafood. But as it is the most accessible beach in the city I cant deny the fact that over the years it has become a more crowded and commercialized beach.
If you love beach I would recommend you to travel a little (20min Train ride) and enjoy other beaches like
San Sebastiá, Bogatell, Nova Icária, Sant Miquel.
LAS RAMBLAS
Las Ramblas is a street often the first landmark that most tourists want to visit. It is a large boulevard that runs through the heart of the city center. Las Ramblas street starts with Port Vell and finishes at Placa de Catalunya.
As it is very famous for tourists you will see many souvenirs, shops, restaurants and shopping shops on this street.
Placa de Catalunya is also surrounded by all big brand shops (Zara, mango, Primark, lego)and many more which tourist enjoys along with Las Ramblas street.
CAMP NOU
PASSEIG de GRACIA
For any shopaholics, this is the place for you! Passeig de Gracia is regarded as Spain's most expensive street, lined with luxury brands such as Chanel, Prada, and Louis Vuitton. Amble through on your way to Casa Batllo and La Pedrera, which both take their home on this iconic avenue.
FEW TIPS:
- Many places have entrance fees like Sagrada Familia, Casa Battlo, Park Guell, and many more. To avoid crowds it's good to book online and enjoy the experience.
- Las Ramblas and Magical fountain are full of tourists and very crowded so BEAWARE OF PICKPOCKETERS.
- Use public transportation like the metro and bus to avoid traffic.
